The fire protection experts from hhpberlin move into DSTRCT

It’s getting busier at DSTRCT.Berlin. We are proud to announce that the fire protection experts hhpberlin will move into our DSTRCT with its team in late summer 2022. The approximately 200 employees will move into about 1,500 square metres of office space on the third floor of the new building. The space can be flexibly planned and used with an individual layout. This allows our tenant to fully adapt his future workplaces to his needs and requirements. JLL acted as broker.

hhpberlin goes one step further

hhpberlin has been one of Germany’s leading fire protection companies for more than 20 years. The engineers and architects develop customised fire protection concepts and accompany their international clients from the idea to the finished building. At the same time, hhpberlin is actively involved in the future of urban development: In the new spaces, the challenges of climate change and social change are being tested in an interdisciplinary way in the so-called safe city laboratory.

At the end of October, young trees were planted in the three inner courtyards of the new building. More greenery will follow, creating a small oasis that employees can use for relaxation, collaboration and work.

DSTRCT.Berlin is almost fully leased

This means that the new building in DSTRCT.Berlin is almost fully leased, with only a total of around 3,300 square metres of rental space still available. As recently as August 2021, we leased 3,300 square metres to the WOW Tech Group, who will also move in with their employees in 2022.

DSTRCT.Berlin has a total of more than 50,000 square metres of rental space. The space is divided between a new building and four historic halls. Tenants have access to a wealth of productivity-enhancing and health-promoting options, including green inner courtyards, a panoramic roof terrace and a varied range of gastronomy in the so-called DSTRCT.market. In the new building, tenants can also be inspired by the expressive artworks of Berlin artist Christian Awe.

In addition, a drive-in bicycle garage holds over 832 parking spaces, 262 of which are Easy Comfort spaces, whichmeans these include an integrated lock and integrated charging for e-bikes.

The buildings have already received WiredScore Platinum certification as well as WELL and DGNB pre-certification at Gold level. Are you interested? Please feel free to contact us.
